On dec.21,1998, I was lucky enough to receive a reply from the Belgian prime minister's office, with the postcard autigraohed by the prime minister Jean-Luc Dehaene |

In the prime Minister office's reply, accompanied a photo with signature of the prime minister Dehaene and a letter autographed by Dehaene. |

Only after one year, June 1999, I see the news about the primier in the global media: "Dehaene is constrained step down because the "DIOXIN" chicken feedstuff problem". (See below) |

This news really makes me feel the hard way behind a political important figure. I feel sorry for the prime minister. It makes me think of the famous phrase:" It's lonely at the top!". Although the prime minister has resigned, But the handwriting he left for the friendship between the people of China and Belgium will always be there. I sincerely wish Mr. Jean-Luc Dehaene a good health and a happy life.
